Holy Week

The most important week of the year for Christians is here.

On Maundy Thursday evening, April 2, at 6 PM, there will be a pot-luck supper in Fellowship Hall.  The children will have the chance to bake unleavened bread for the service.

At 7 PM there will be a simple intergenerational communion service around the supper tables. The children will sing. Families with children are encouraged to attend together . Everyone is welcome!

On Good Friday evening, April 3, at 7:30 PM, the service of Tenebrae or shadows will take place in the sanctuary. This moving service for Holy Week is an important part of our tradition. It will speak strongly to you and is most appropriate for those in fourth grade and older. The Youth Choir will sing.

On Easter Sunday, April 5, at 10:30 AM, we’ll celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with special music from our Chancel, Youth, and Children’s Choirs, a guest trumpeter, and Holy Communion. Pastor Beth Lyon will be preaching. Share the joy! Bring a friend! We will also be collecting food for the Inter-Faith Cupboard.
